The in-house creative team for the plant-based burger released its first work
In a new spot for the plant-based Impossible Burger, an astronaut explores a lively landscape, delicately cataloguing the inhabitants of a lush ecosystem–the Earth.
“The Return” is the first work from Impossible Food’s in-house creative team. Fatlip from The Pharcyde voices the astronaut, who explores our own world with the same, awe-stuck eye that an astronaut on Mars might use. The lesson: There’s plenty to accomplish here to make the Earth better.
Nick Walker, music promo director for Nicki Minaj and FKA Twigs, helmed the new film.
Impossible Foods is also releasing its 2018 Impact Report detailing the company’s sustainability progress and unveiled the spot this month with a panel discussion featuring Impossible Foods Founder and CEO Pat Brown, former governor and Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency Christine Todd Whitman, director of Center of Sustainable Development Columbia Jeffrey Sachs and author Jonathan Safran Foer.
